LE LAC DE CHARPAL

The Lac de Charpal site, located in a Natura 2000 zone, evokes the landscapes of Canada. Its history, marked by its strategic role as a munitions storage site between the two world wars and the construction of a railroad line, gives it a unique character. The forest, planted in the 1950s, and its exceptional flora and fauna, make it a place of great biodiversity. A 9-kilometre trail, complete with educational panels, allows you to explore the area. Although no-kill fishing is permitted, swimming is prohibited.
