THE SAINT-MEEN CHAPEL
Go there and contact
Isolated chapel in the middle of the trees near the bubbling brook and the waterfall, which is located in Grandrieu.
On the road to Laval-Atger, the Saint-Méen chapel, only a century old, is set in a picturesque site. It is isolated in the middle of the trees near the stream which bubbles and cascades. A cavity dug in the rock forms a kind of small bathtub always filled with water. It was here that children suffering from ringworm or skin diseases were immersed, while multiple offerings were made to accelerate their healing. Even today, handkerchiefs belonging to the children who are to be cured are still hung around it.
