Takh Association breeding a herd of wild horses and organizing visits in small groups inside the enclosure
Unique species of wild horse in the world, Przewalski's horse, named after its discoverer, is native to Mongolia. 20,000 years ago, they were portrayed in cave paintings. Since 1990 the Takh Association has reconstituted a herd from horses from different zoos in Europe. Since 2019 they are authorized to organize annual visits inside the 400 hectare enclosure by small groups of less than 15 people. They are sometimes visible from the fence but may be behind a relief, thus invisible.
