ESSENCIAGUA
Essenciagua is developing a 100% organic and eco-responsible project in La Tieule based on essential oils. The company, created in 2005 by Laurent Gautun, obtains fresh plants within a 150 km radius of the distillery from farmers or certified organic harvesters. This raw material is then refined with Lozère spring water in food grade stainless steel stills. A practice that is still strongly imbued with the artisanal gesture and all the patience associated with it. It is only after a slow and complete distillation that Essenciagua captures the richness and complexity of these plants: yarrow, bergamot, rockrose, lemon balm, mint, ravinstara, Damascus rose, ylang.... Thus transformed into essential oils or hydrolats, they then deliver the extent of their benefits. These "grands crus" have dozens of flavours, to relieve physical pain (migraine, canker sores, osteoarthritis...) as well as bruises to the soul (stage fright, anxiety, intellectual fatigue...). The company, which favours very high quality in its work as a producer and distiller, also recommends an informed use of its medicinal or cosmetic "treasures", according to the principle of "one person, one moment, one plant".
