SAINT-GERVAIS-AND-SAINT-PROTAIS CHURCH
Primitive church of Burgundian Romanesque style, with an octagonal bell tower in Langogne
The primitive church of Burgundian Romanesque style dates from the 12th century. Destroyed in large part during the wars of religion, the building was restored with a portal adopting the flamboyant Gothic style. In 1784, the bell tower, destroyed by fire, was replaced by the current octagonal bell tower. Inside, there are 85 capitals carved in granite in place since the 12th century. The statue of Notre-Dame-de-Tout-Pouvoir which is there has been venerated since the 11th century.
