DAM AND LAKE OF NAUSSAC

Lozère's riches are priceless! The département's geographical location means that it is just as well suited to snow sports and outdoor activities as it is to water sports. Lac de Naussac is an ideal playground for those who like to move on or in the water. It extends over 1,050 ha (the Naussac reservoir is the largest in the département) and its shores, which are both landscaped and natural, offer a very pleasant spot to spend the summer! All kinds of sporting activities can be enjoyed here. On the water glide the Optimists, real little racing cars that are very pleasant and relatively easy to control, but also windsurfers, catamarans, dinghies, pedal boats and, for those who prefer to move around by force of arms: rowing, stand-up paddle and kayak are not to be outdone... There's also a beach for sunbathing and relaxing, with supervised swimming in summer. Ideal for a day out with the kids! Once out of the water, you can put on your hiking boots and explore the surrounding area. You can also explore the surrounding countryside and heritage on electric scooters or horseback. There are many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy tapas, pizza, grilled meats, a full lunch or a drink while taking in the exceptional surroundings.
