Open all year round, this restaurant is a benchmark in Le Malzieu. It offers home cooking based on fresh, local produce, with menus renewed weekly: dry sausage with hazelnuts and home-made rillettes, crayfish cassolette au gratin, pumpkin flan with grilled bacon, trout with almonds, sliced chicken with sesame, beef pavé with ceps, pear-almond tart, crème brûlée with verbena... Dishes can be enjoyed in one of the two large dining rooms or on the shaded terrace under the pergola.

De passage au Malzieu pour visiter ce beau village, nous tombons sur ce restaurant à l’extérieur du village fortifié. Le seul qui semble être digne de confiance dans ce village au vu des avis trouvés sur internet. Repas servi à l'étage dans une des 2 salles claires, au décor classique. Nous avons trouvé la cuisine passable mais ne nous a pas laissé un souvenir impérissable. C'était juste bon pour nous rassasier pour le repas de midi, c'est ce que nous voulions. La serveuse a été très agréable et professionnelle. Les lieux semblaient propres.
