The Can-de-l'Hospitalet, which rises above the Pompidou, designates this small causse separated by the Tarnon Valley of the one which gave birth to it, the causse Méjean. It is located on the water-sharing line between the ocean basin and the Mediterranean basin, and its karst surface has slowly dissolved to give holes, dargilan, caves, cracks and ruiniformes landscapes. It is in this wild landscape of landes that many desert assemblies have been held.
