Restaurant where you can taste a cuisine as abundant as frugal in Marchastel.
Le Buron de Born in Marchastel seats seventy inside, and doubles that number on the terrace when the weather's nice, to enjoy a cuisine that's as abundant as it is frugal: local charcuterie, aligot au chaudron, Aubrac beef, retortillat, mountain cheese and homemade tarts, all of which testify to a desire to share the taste of country fare. Here, customers - locals, families, pilgrims, Parisians... - come for conviviality above all, and a unique panorama of the Lac de Born.

Once there, you will be seduced by the setting of this small restaurant made of stone and wood.
The entrance is the plateau of charcuterie of the country: excellent
The dish is meat of Aubrac, tender, tasty and gouteuse!!!! Accompanied by sublime a alligot, you are served with the dish at the cauldron: authentic!!!!
The cheeseboard is divine, unlimited! The warm apple tart and excellent ice cream.
Very good value for money, in a unique setting, and it is better to book, and check the menu not to get lost: -) But it is worth the detour!
