PHOTO CLUB MENDOIS

Founded in 1957, the club organizes meetings to exchange ideas, as well as outings and photo rallies for beginners and advanced photographers. Affiliated with the Fédération photographique de France, it regularly takes part in competitions and exhibits the work of its thirty or so members every year. One of its most active members is Jean-François Salles, a renowned photographer who has contributed images to numerous books on the Lozère region. Although photography has come a long way since the 50s, the spirit of the club has remained the same: mutual help and conviviality.
