Alto Braco is the Occitan name for Aubrac, derived from Latin. It means "high peat bog". After crossing a vast steppe streaked with streams and dotted with basalt boulders, in a true Nordic landscape, you'll discover this exceptional place. In the heart of Nasbinals, a magnificent granite house renovated with care. Five guest rooms and two self-catering cottages in a decor that invites you to relax. THE DEROC BED AND BREAKFAST
Blue dream
Near Nasbinals, in the Aubrac region where water is omnipresent, the Déroc waterfall breaks through a glacial valley 30 m below. A natural wonder, the site is the highlight of the Route des Lacs. The waterfall conceals a small grotto with a remarkable ceiling made of basalt organs, a volcanic rock.
A large attic room on the top floor of our manor house, Déroc is adorned in the color traditionally attributed to water: blue, symbolizing confidence and dreams. The organization of the space plays on both natural lighting and intimacy. For a stay in the most beautiful water!

Once the snow has faded on the Aubrac plateau, spring flowers fill the wet meadows with color. The daffodil, a good scout, appears as early as April. Others, such as pulsatile anemone, cottongrass and yellow gentian, soon join it for a floral symphony of a thousand hues.
Yellow, a reminder of the daffodil and the color of well-being, adds a tonic note to this soothing room. A true cocoon (it's the smallest of the five rooms), Jonquille offers a charming view of the village, dominated by the octagonal church tower.

A protected species, round-leaved sundew thrives in summer in high-altitude peat bogs. This perennial herb, with its superb red leaves, is a carnivorous plant that traps insects. Without being an insect, let yourself be captured by the charm of the place!
Brick-red furniture echoes the small fireplace that decorates this room. Droséra is not only the largest of our five guest rooms, it also has its own private sauna. Ideal for relaxation and well-being after a day's walking!

This delicate white flower covers the plateau by the millions, exhaling an intoxicating scent that makes it a "white gold" prized by perfumers in Grasse... and around the world. Narcissus harvesting, using a comb on a wheel, is a unique tradition in France.
A shade of dark green, a color associated with spring and nature, complements the natural environment of your stay and contributes to the refinement of this room. Spacious and comfortable, Narcisse overlooks the mansion's garden and the village in the background.

Steers, cows, heifers: the Aubrac breed of cattle is the emblem of breeding on the plateau. The animals are fed grass and hay, depending on the season. Every year, around May 25, the transhumance takes place: the herds are taken to the high mountain pastures.
As its name suggests, Œil de bœuf is an attic room, naturally lit by small openings, including oculi. With its trendy sage-green furnishings, this is a haven of discretion and rest for an original vacation on the top floor of our manor house, overlooking the village of Nasbinals
