MOHAIR DU VENTALON
Nadine and Gerard Alise welcome you to their farm where they mix, for the pleasure of all, breeding, harvesting, crafts, creation, photography... all in a desire to preserve the environment. Breeding is their main activity. That of the angora goats for example, which they take care of for their beautiful coat, from which the mohair thread is extracted. Warm and light, this fibre is then woven or knitted, then transformed into a sweater, stole or plaid. Instead of the pieces created in the workshop, one may prefer knitting balls where mohair has been combined with wool or silk. But the farm also produces other delicious dishes and you will leave with delicious pelardons, terrines and other delicatessen, honey and jams...
