LE PONT DE BURGEN
Comfortable gîte d'étape and guest rooms with a warm welcome.
Hiking guide Dominique Donnet and Alain Pigache invite you to discover the Cévennes, as Stevenson did, accompanied by one of their twenty or so donkeys, lunch included. From April to November, thanks to the Mediterranean climate, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Cévennes National Park and swim in the Gardons valleys, following the famous drailles (Tour des Cévennes or chemin de Stevenson) and the small mule trails linking the many Cévennes hamlets. Each evening, you'll stop off at a new place: a gîte d'étape or a chambres d'hôtes, where the welcome is different but always warm. At Pont de Burgen itself, you'll find a comfortable gîte d'étape set in traditional Cévennes houses, with communal areas (dining room with fireplace, equipped kitchenette, sanitary facilities) and small rooms sleeping 2-6. If you opt for half-board, you'll enjoy hearty meals based on farm produce (starter, meat and trimmings, salad and cheese, dessert, coffee or herbal tea, aperitifs and wine included).

Dans la veine du gite du Mijavol, très rustique.
Un propriétaire mal aimable au possible, tendance a prendre les clients pour je ne préfère pas dire quoi....A éviter pour cela ! Le coin grouille de gites donc pas difficile ;)
