ÉGLISE DE SAINT-ÉTIENNE-VALLÉE-FRANÇAISE
Go there and contact
This church, set in the heart of the village lanes, is built from local schist enhanced with white quartz.
The church lies at the center of the village's picturesque lanes, which converge on a charming forecourt. The building bears witness to the importance of the parish in the 14th century, when it was built. Like many of its predecessors, it is built of local schist and white quartz. During the conflicts between Catholics and Protestants, the church was destroyed and then rebuilt. Originally, its walls were decorated with frescoes, now covered with yellow paint.
