The originality of this museum, where the tools can be observed, the different varieties of chestnuts, the harvest through the ages, also holds the place, an active holding, where the owners-gatherers come to produce it to dry or transform it into flour. This explains the opening periods but gives a great pleasure to seeing a winch, a traditional chestnut dryer. Tree techniques are also discovered to graft and treat the bread tree, emblematic of the Cevennes and the different uses of its wood in furniture or basement.
