Consecrated AOC in 2000, Pélardon is a small goat cheese made from raw milk. Every year, on the last Sunday in April or the first Sunday in May, Sainte-Croix-Vallée-Française, a village located in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, celebrates this local product with an eclectic programme of festivities. Farmers' markets, music and manual workshops (woodturning, discovery of trout fishing...) animate this day which brings together all generations. Possibility of lunchtime catering (on reservation).
