LES BARS DE SAINTE-ENIMIE

Fortunately they are there. When Sainte-Enimie turns into a winter desert and keeps firmly closed, the Bar of La Digue and Le Central, each at one end of the village, are the only comfort that remains. The first one comes with its large terrace and a wide choice of beers (and mineral waters!) and one appreciates its sandwiches when the stomach cries famine. The second is, admittedly, a winter respite, but opens early in the season, for the great happiness of its people: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful.
