Magnifique village médiéval, l'un des plus beaux villages de France.
Pour le visiter intelligemment, passez par l'office du tourisme demandez la carte de la "Balade du Patrimoine". C'est un parcours dans le village avec une vingtaines de lieux incontournables à visiter.
Mais il y a aussi l'ermitage. On le voit depuis le bas du village. Il se trouve en hauteur accroché aux rochers. Un sentier y mène facilement (Enfin, cela monte quand même pas mal) depuis les ponts.
Le sentier de l'ermitage continue vers un point de vue avec une grande croix. De là, la vue sur le village est imprenable.
Le sentier continue encore un peu et fini par rejoindre la route qui vous ramènera au village. Il y a en tout 2km dont 650m sur la route qui mène à Mende.
Si vous aimez promener, il y a aussi la promenade balisée "Le Sentier Des Berges" qui démarre de l'autre côté du pont par rapport au centre du village. Il y a 5km en tout. Jolies vue sur les Gorges du Tarn. Dénivellé peu important.
