EVA ROELOFSEN

We are used to say that someone is "pure wool" to signify the bond that unites him to his native land.... The expression is also appropriate to Eva Roelofsen's relationship with the Cévennes, where she has set up her textile design studio. On this craftsman's skein in the soul: felt, a non-woven fabric that is created by rubbing precious fibres - wool, linen, silk - with hot soapy water. A unique material that Eva Roelofsen then transforms into clothes, accessories or curtains, inspired by her environment and the colours that nature shades over the seasons.
