These gorges, steeped in history and located at Arles-sur-Tech, are the narrowest in the world, with a width of less than 80 cm.

The narrowest gorges in the world, with passages less than 80 cm wide, they frightened the local population, who were convinced that they were inhabited by bruixes (witches). Legends merge with history, that of the Trabucayres, the highwaymen who plagued the region around 1840. This canyon, 1,700 m long and 200 m deep, is so narrow in places that daylight never reaches the bottom, and is home to the Simiots, hideous creatures straight out of children's fairy tales. we visited the gorges of crazy during the heat of summer. we were surprised by the freshness of this place. it is necessary to helmets to protect it is funny. however not stroller because it is quite narrow. you can have breaks and sit .c' is a beautiful place. you should expect after all.
