CHÂTEAU DE CALADROY
Between Millas and Bélesta, perched at an altitude of 354 m, Château de Caladroy is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and garrigue. Since the 12th century, it has defended the Franco-Spanish border, and from destruction to reconstruction, its past is steeped in war and history. A winegrower's property since the 19th century, it retains a spectacular architecture that harmoniously blends the different eras. The tasting cellar is housed beneath the château's foundations, in a chapel built in the 12th century.
