RENCONTRES DU COURT-MÉTRAGE « IMAGE IN CABESTANY »

Throughout the year, Image In Cabestany, offers training in audiovisual creation with FSO (Film Spring Open France) and Video Bar evenings over a drink. Created in 1981, under the impetus of André Abet and the town of Cabestany, these convivial cinematographic encounters have acquired over the years a good reputation. The 2020 edition has been postponed from 25 to 28 April 2021 with many surprises for the 40th anniversary of the meetings of the short film "Image in Cabestany". For 4 consecutive days, in the Abet room of the Jean-Ferrat cultural centre, 45 exceptional national and international productions will be shown among the 1200 received. Musical clips, documentaries, experimental films, fictions and reports of less than 30 minutes will be shown. At the end of these 4 days, the public, as well as a jury of professionals, will award prizes to the four competing categories: Amateur, Young Creation, Professional and Semi-Pro. The screenings will be followed by meetings around a glass of friendship to be shared with the directors.
