At the very top of Carrer del Mitg (Middle Street), at the foot of the château, Jean-Pierre Martinez and Pierre Baudereaux welcome you to the intimacy of their salon. Using natural eggshells, they create a wide range of trinkets and caskets in the spirit of Fabergé eggs. Two display cases showcase these precious objects, which are painted, sculpted, chiselled, openworked or inlaid with precious stones. This is precision work and unique expertise, in the tradition of the 17th and 18thcenturies . You can visit the workshop and follow the steps involved in transforming ostrich, goose, quail or hen eggs into sublime objects. Each piece is unique or numbered. These creative craftsmen work to order, and personalize the cases according to your wishes (initials, coat of arms, etc.). The workshop is well worth a visit.
