ALTER EGO ÉDITIONS

The Alter Ego publishing house was founded in 2002, not far from the Musée d'art contemporain de Céret. A geography that owes nothing to chance, since the company, driven by Joël Mettay's passion, gives pride of place to contemporary disciplines: visual arts, music and gastronomy. Most of the books defended by this small publishing house develop a local point of view on art history or the various artistic trends, before addressing their resonance or influence beyond the immediate borders. Since 2010, Alter Ego has also been offering a collection called "Jazz Impressions", led by leading authors in this field.
