A poster store that allows you to see Fauvism through twenty paintings in the very places where they were painted.
In May 1905, Matisse and Derain discovered Collioure. From this meeting, Fauvism was born. A circuit has been created in the streets of the town, punctuated by about twenty reproductions of paintings on the very places where they were painted. Thanks to this living museum, we can witness the birth of one of the most important movements in 20th century painting, Fauvism. The House of Fauvism offers several guided tours from April to October: The Fauvist Trail, Exploring the Forts, Collioure Unusual, the Playful Experience...
