Roman baths with naturally warm water, located in the peaceful and unspoiled mountain village of Dorres

8 km from Font-Romeu, the peaceful, unspoilt mountain village of Dorres is known for its well-equipped Roman baths in a natural, unspoilt setting at the foot of the mountains. The water is naturally warm (38-40°C) and sulphurous, rising from the depths of the Pyrenees. Although the hot waters were already exploited in prehistoric times, it was the Romans who created the granite pools. Ideal after a hike or a day of skiing. You come out relaxed and invigorated with a feeling of well-being and soft skin.

Les eaux sulfureuses, et chaudes (40°) c'est bon pour la peau. Après la randonnée dans les montagnes quoi de mieux, sauf si on a pris un coup de soleil, pour se reposer et se rafraichir. Car , même s'il fait chaud, on s'y rafraichit, et le site de ces bains , en balcon sur la faille de Cerdagne, est bien ventilé. En été, il a parfois beaucoup de monde. Le lieu est si charmant que les gens accourent, et c'est bien moins cher qu'à Llo où l'eau sent fortement le chlore

Bains relativement petits donc il est indispensable de bien choisir les horaires pour votre visite sinon vous pouvez oublier le moment de détente espéré.
Il serait agréable que l'un des employés se charge de rappeler à l'ordre les parents des enfants afin que ces derniers considèrent pas les biens comme une pataugeoire....

If there is one thing to do in this region especially the winter when it snows, it is that. There are two heated natural bathtubs with 38° and a bathtub is not bad people heated to 36°. Avoid going there in middle according to noon, prefer beginning according to noon to be quieter.
