DOMAINE PIQUEMAL
Nestling in the Agly valley, the 60 ha vineyard benefits from an ideal exposure and privileged sunshine. The emphasis on the different terroirs (schist, marl, clay-limestone and quaternary terraces), combined with a demand for quality, are the key values of the estate, which has moreover obtained high environmental value certification. Over the generations, the Piquemal family has developed its range of wines with a high demand for quality. Marie-Pierre relies on this family know-how and retains the original values of the estate, namely, the complementary identity of its vintages and the love of a job well done. It is with this in mind that the estate's conversion to organic farming will begin in 2020. We have appreciated the rosé wines, notably in vin de pays the Pierre Audonnet cuvée, fruity and round, and in AOC the Terres Grillées, a rosé of character, unctuous and delicate, which reveals itself on spicy and mineral notes.
