Path leading to an observation point offering splendid panoramic views of the rocky coastline of the Catalan Albères
It's one of the locals' favorite spots when the heat wave hits the plains. The pass can be reached by car from Le Perthus (a 20-minute drive). Winding through a pretty forest of black pines and beech trees, a path leads from the pass (alt 938 m) to an observation point offering splendid panoramic views of the rocky coastline of the Catalan Albères. The walk, designed by the ONF and approved for the mentally, motor and hearing-impaired, features signposts and reading desks (2.5 km/1h).
