Of the first Romanesque church built in the 10th century, only the monumental portal made of white Céret marble, classified as a historical monument, remains. This portal is especially remarkable by the very beautiful frieze overhanging it and sculpted by the master of Cabestany in the second half of the 12th century. It represents six scenes from the childhood of Christ: the Annunciation, the birth of Christ, the bath of the child, the adoration of the Magi, the flight to Egypt and the rest in Egypt.
