This building, which is located in Le Perthus, is a monument marking the end of the Domitia life and the beginning of the via Augusta.

The Pompey's Trophy is a monument built in 71 BC by the general Pompey. This building marked the end of the via Domitia and the beginning of the via Augusta, it also commemorated Pompey's victory over the general Sertorius on his return from his campaigns in Hispania. In spite of the plunderings and the various reuses, some blocks of sandstone in big apparatus could be saved and allow to consider the excessiveness of the monument, probably a turriform monument of about forty meters high crossed by the way in the manner of a tunnel.
