Stay in a brand new building at an altitude of 1,283 m.

A very beautiful realization which makes the pride of Sud Canigó. A brand new building, ultra modern, perfectly integrated into nature. Located in the heart of an arboretum with rare species at 1 283 m of altitude, on the loops of great hike, this refuge is a wonder! Access is by car from the village of Le Tech, then a track leads to the refuge (closed in July and August). The best solution is to walk up (1h30) on a shady path. Up there, you will be offered a smile, because it is like the sun and the people here... generous.

Nous avons passe un agréable moment, un repas copieux et très bon. La gérante d'une gentillesse et de très bon conseil . c'est elle qui nous a conseillé la cascade qui est a 5 minutes du refuge . merci encore .

Une bien belle étape du tour du Canigou. Accueil avec le sourire et la bonne humeur. Bonne bière artisanale bien fraîche, copieux repas et bon petit déjeuner. Que demander de plus ? Ah oui j'oubliais: dortoir, douches et sanitaires au top.

Aujourd'hui 3 juillet 2022, nous nous sommes rendus au refuge de Sant Guillem par le sentier de randonnée qui part du hameau de L'Allau et arrivés au refuge, nous avons demandé à Nathalie si nous pouvions déjeuner malgré l'heure d'arrivée (il était 13h30) et elle a accepté très gentiment et nous avons dégusté une succulente cassolette de lotte accompagnée de fruits de mer et terminé avec une remarquable pêche melba. Nathalie est très accueillante et souriante. Nous n'avons pas regretté notre casse-croûte laissé dans le sac. Nous recommandons vivement aux randonneurs ce refuge et dès que nous le pourrons, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
