Gîte offering a beautiful view of the mountains in the heart of the forest of Scots pines from Matemale to Les Angles.

In the heart of the Matemale pine forest and its eponymous lake, in a magnificent wooded setting, Kerstin and Olivier welcome you to their gîte, essentially built of wood and comprising 4 bedrooms (with bathroom and toilet) and a dormitory. The decor is simple and rustic, like a mountain chalet, with parquet floors and exposed beams. All rooms have mountain views. The table d'hôte, made mostly with local produce - civet, raclette, fondue, cheese platters, all homemade - is very popular.

C'est notre 4eme séjour au gîte entre amis et c'est toujours un plaisir de retrouver Anki et Mathieu. Un accueil toujours souriant et un service irréprochable. Je recommande fortement pour les groupes nombreux avec enfants.

Excellente semaine passe à EquiSud. Un personnel chaleureux, accueillant et serviable tout le long du séjour. |La cuisine est atypique, variée et délicieuse ! |Le gîte est proche de toutes activités, navettes, ski, lac, forêt…|Le cadre est reposant. Tout pour passer de bonne vacances.

Un stop lors de notre randonnée du tour du Capcir. Agréable bien que rustique et une table commune partagée avec les autres clients et la famille. La maîtresse de maison se décarcasse en cuisine (ouverte sur la salle de restaurant) pour concocter un civet de chevreuil sublime.
