LE BIKE PARK
It's a great place to enjoy the area as soon as the snow has melted, with five real downhill trails designed for mountain biking: Le Mordor, the 2.6 km black trail zigzags under the gondola; the 4.8 km red Izangard takes you over a ridge, through scree slopes, triangular sections, bridges, footbridges, some very aerial passages and finally a single in a magnificent wooded area. The rather technical Aragorn blue trail takes mountain bikers down to the Pla del Mir for a 5.750 km descent; the other blue trail, the Gandalf, is 4.9 km long and allows you to discover the 5 entrance gates. And finally, the Frodon is a green trail suitable for children and beginners. The Les Angles Bike Park also offers two "family" itineraries: les sources de l'Aude (7.5 km) and les vallées du Soula (9.8 km), with a few short descents and a smaller gradient in a wide variety of landscapes. Helmets and back protectors are compulsory, and can be hired at the resort. If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one at the Olympiades store and at the Chalet du ski. Access to the Bike Park is via the Les Pèlerins gondola lift.
