DOMAINE DU DERNIER BASTION
Sébastien Lafarge is at the head of this estate, an ancestral family farm since 1798, he cultivates the vineyard while respecting the environment, harvests the crop by hand and traditionally vinifies and grows his wines in an old winery. Dry "quiet" wines, sweet wines, and exceptional wines have the typical features of this soil which extends to the foot of the castle of Quéribus, in the schist hills between the Corbières massif and the Pyrenees foothills. These are excellent long-keeping wines to bring in your luggage, if you still have room... Let us note the Maury Rancio vintage, which is aged in the sun in a glass capped tank, then spends 6 years in a wood barrel... A wine indicated for all that is deli meats and melons, a little like porto (but containing less than this one) and also for hard cheeses...
