FETE DE LA BUNYETTE ET DE L'OLIVE
Two weeks before Easter, the village of Millas celebrates the Bunyete (a kind of round doughnut) and the olive.
Popular with Catalans, Bunyetes, a kind of round, wide doughnut scented with orange blossom and generously sprinkled with sugar, have always been made in the family, with everyone from the youngest to the eldest helping out in a convivial generational atmosphere. As for olives, many producers offer tastings of their best vintages and the by-products they create. The whole village comes alive during Holy Week in a festive, gourmet spirit.
