This beautiful and refined family home, former episcopal palace of the bishops of Elne in the 12th century, promises you privileged moments away from the summer crowds. Michelle and Alain, the adorable owners, have arranged four beautiful rooms to receive you. They are all beautifully decorated, with large size bedding of high quality and many extras in the suites. Michelle offers you a breakfast with homemade jams, why not on the terrace.

Au Château d’Ortaffa, à peine franchi le portail d’entrée, que l’on tombe directement sous le charme des lieux. Chaque pièce de la maison d’hôtes a été pensée et aménagée avec soin et originalité. À l’heure du petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse surplombant les toits du bourg, l’on se plaît d’observer à souhait la vue idyllique qui s’offre à nous dès les premiers rayons de soleil de la journée. Cette maison d’hôtes nous a offert un séjour qui restera un souvenir ineffable. De même, nous tenons encore à remercier sincèrement Michelle et Alain qui nous ont reçus dans leur propriété avec tant de générosité, professionnalisme, entregent et gentillesse. Le Château d’Ortaffa à découvrir sans attendre lors d’un séjour à deux ou en famille ! Clémence et Xavier

Quel château ! Incontournable si vous souhaitez dormir dans le secteur… une chambre très belle, petit déjeuner fait maison excellent.
Un accueil parfait, vous vous sentez comme à la maison. Merci à vous deux, de belles personnes chez qui on a envie de revenir.

Les meilleurs étaient les merveilleux propriétaires, disponibles et serviables, mais qui respectaient notre vie privée. Ils ont également donné d'excellents conseils et nous avons visité des villages et monastères extraordinaires. Le petit déjeuner à base de produits locaux était servi sur la belle terrasse/salon. Pourtant, le meilleur était l'ambiance, nous nous sentions complètement à l'aise et reposés. En espérant revenir !

We stayed two lovely days at Chateau d’Ortaffa. The place is an amazingly well-kept and tastefully decorated town house from the 12th century. We stayed in the spacious and airy room Baroque. It was so quiet and comfortable, we slept very well. The best were the wonderful owners, who were available and helpful, but honored our privacy. They also gave some excellent tips and we visited some extraordinary villages and monasteries. Breakfast from local products was served on the beautiful terrace/living room. Yet, the best was the atmosphere, we felt completely comfortable and rested. Hoping to visit again!
