A very popular venue in Perpignan, because here, regulars are used to meet from the morning around a tea or a coffee and a croissant. Bankers, insurers, lawyers, developers and other real-estate agents from the area have made it their headquarters in the middle of a few doctors or dentists who come to take a little break between two appointments. You will have understood, the place is very convivial because the terrace is full from lunchtime for simple but tasty food with Italian flavours. In the afternoon, residents come to buy products imported from Italy, deli meats, pasta, oils and other "prodotti of Italia". Quite frankly, Renata does herself the shopping in Italy every month for the greatest pleasure of the guests of her "traitoria". Every Saturday evening, the restaurant remains open and people hurry around a chiffonnade of Parma ham, antipasti but especially the first-rate garnished "focaccia", this kind of pizza served on wooden boards to taste alone or to share with friends around an aperitif or one of the many wines of Italy. A very friendly place where Renata and her team will be happy to serve you. Between us, I fall for her tiramisu.
