Near the Rigaud Museum and next to Harmonia Mundi, enter under the porch and its arched passage. At the bottom of the courtyard, behind wide bays, already light and colour draw attention, that is where works and exposes Véronique Joguet since 2009. Arrival of Bordeaux years ago, she painted since she settled in Roussillon. She qualifies as a "addicted of colour", born at the age of 14 when she discovered in a Turner landscape museum. It was therefore subjugated by the power, energy, brightness and heat that the colours could generate. Its method of work? It first defines a theme: The lights of Manhattan, the littoral trail of Paulilles, the paths and vines of Maury, the flowering of cacti, women, etc. From there, she explores her pictorial possibilities in a series of thirty canvases, each telling the same story in a different way. The thread of these series being the subject chosen, but also the use of primary colours that make the canvas vibrate. Go and recharge in positive energy, the world of Véronique Joguet is an explosion of colors. You will always find it in his studio with a current canvas, it's his second house. It welcomes you with a nice smile; A comfortable sofa and armchairs to sit down will make the visit longer. And if the heart tells you, the paintings are all for sale.
