Perpignan is home to Aéro Club du Roussillon, a flying school located at Aéropyrénées, 499 avenue Maurice Bellonte. The flying club offers flying lessons and has several aircraft at its disposal, including the Cessna 152 F-GCHP, the Cessna 152 F-GBQF, the Robin DR400 F-GPRL and the Piper PA28 F-HPPG. Hourly rates vary according to aircraft type. To register, you need to provide a medical certificate from an aeronautical doctor less than one month old, two passport photos, proof of identity and parental authorization for minors. Annual fees include membership of the flying club and a license-insurance policy with the Fédération Française Aéronautique.
