Port-Vendres is a dynamic port town offering a variety of commercial, fishing and yachting activities. The Port-Vendres marina, managed by the Perpignan CCI, offers 267 berths, including 30 for visitors. The Port-Vendres commercial port has 4 berths, including 2 equipped with ramps for roll-on/roll-off ships and ferries. There are also plans to build a quay for ships up to 170m long and with a draught of 8.5m. With a container terminal, a Ro-Ro terminal and 18,000m² of warehousing space, the port is the second largest fruit port in the Mediterranean. Port-Vendres is also a popular stopover for cruises, thanks to its privileged location in the heart of the Mediterranean. The town's fishing port boasts careening facilities and handling equipment for fishing boats and pleasure craft.
