Well-known place of the Prades inhabitants and the regulars of the small town, the Café de la Paix combines conviviality, simplicity and quality cooking. It is one of the oldest cafés in Prades. It is a place that the Petit Futé recommends: the cooking is efficient and the dishes are rather copious. Mar or munt (sea or mountain), there is something for everyone. The menu is not very varied and follows the moods of the seasons or the producers. We love the large terrace facing the church. We are in the heart of Prades, where life is bustling and we love this village spirit.

Arrived just in time for lunch. It had a great atmosphere and felt quite "local", friends bumping into each other, etc.. the food was pretty good. I was happy with my glazed porc and scalloped potatoes, my Sister and Dad both ordered the breaded turkey and couldn't believe how enormous it was, but it came with a side of rice? A bit strange and we saw others get it with a side of chips (darn wish we had known) Otherwise a lovely place to have a bite to eat and an expresso
