The Privat family has been specialists in Catalan garnet since 1945. A circuit leads you from the exhibition hall (400m2) where old tools are on display, to the reconstructed garnet mine. A guide accompanies you and tells you the history of this jewel. A video will tell you more about the manufacturing process: the garnet is a mythical stone that culturally symbolises Catalonia and represents truth and fidelity. Il y a 10 ans, ce magasin spécialisé dans le grenat m a réparé mon alliance en grenat. Aujourd'hui, j y suis allée car j ai perdu un des grenats de mon alliance et on m a répondu qu ils ne faisaient plus que de la création. Les réparations ne les intéressaient pas. Je trouve ça très dommage pour un spécialiste du grenat.
