The Privat family has been specialists in Catalan garnet since 1945. A circuit leads you from the exhibition hall (400m2) where old tools are on display, to the reconstructed garnet mine. A guide accompanies you and tells you the history of this jewel. A video will tell you more about the manufacturing process: the garnet is a mythical stone that culturally symbolises Catalonia and represents truth and fidelity. Cest une visite originale et peu onéreuse (3€ pour les adultes) et les bijoux en magasin sont magnifiques. Le personnel est très accueillant....je recommande ????

C'est une visite instructive sur un savoir-faire exceptionnel. La société a su évoluer avec son temps tout en gardant des méthodes de fabrication artisanales. Admirer le travail et voir la réalisation d'un bijou est remarquable. Comment résister à la tentation de ramener un souvenir traditionnel de la région d'autant plus qu'il y en a pour tous les goûts et toutes les bourses.

A beautiful place visit, thank you the weather, if not I would never visited. I loved the workshops where you are hidden nothing, meets all your questions and does not force you sale, because you fissure alone.
