LE FORT LAGARDE
For nearly twenty years, every summer, Fort Lagarde has been animated by an interactive guided discovery of Fort Lagarde in the company of an 18th century soldier who practises the handling of period weapons (flintlock gun, cannon...) and presents demonstrations on horseback (high school dressage...), but also the show "Le Sel de la Révolte" (Salt of Revolt) which will tell you the story of the Angelets of the earth in July and August.
It is from Sunday to Friday at 3:30 p.m. and the visit lasts an hour and a half. This very lively visit is greatly appreciated by the participants, especially by the children who are regularly solicited by the guide. The ticket office is open from 2pm. From the ramparts, a breathtaking view of the Vallespir alone sums up the strategic position of Fort Lagarde.
