EL CELLER IBERIC CAN SERGI
Restaurant with terrace both wine bar and café-concert offering a view of the mountains in Saint-André.
Finally an address as we like them. A small Iberian pearl found at the foot of the Albères in this region where an increasingly younger population is looking for a place to simply eat, drink and relax. El Celler Iberic is a wine bar, restaurant and café-concert at the same time. In the kitchen, we find Fabien the saucier chef who "likes to take up challenges" and behind the Sergi counter who tells us with his little Catalan accent "I bring quality products and Fabien the know-how". In this brand new building (and with large volumes) built in the new artisanal zone of Saint-André, each dish on the menu is a nod to a region of Spain: Manchego (the true of La Mancha!) with 12 months of maturing, dry or cooked Bellota ham... A massacre! On the wine side, the menu is very successful with a beautiful palette of local or Spanish wines. And on concert evenings.... What an atmosphere! ! ! But the must for summer is the large covered and sheltered terrace with a view of the mountains. It should be noted that there is a playground for children and a petanque court and an outdoor refreshment bar. We fell in love with this establishment with its surprising and cross-border concept. If you don't believe us, read what is written on the wall behind the counter: "purity is the result of mixing".
