DOMAINE SANAC
Welcome to the heart of the Aspres, the original cradle of the Order of the Temple, rich in history and legends. The Sanac estate, which has been built and developed within the same family since the 17th century, now extends over five generations. The vineyard is spread over two terroirs: the Albères (sandy Tech edges and granitic arenas on the slopes) and the Aspres (clayey-limestone and pebble soils). The vine is worked with care and very well maintained. The whole family works on it. For the tasting, you will be welcomed in the old wine-making cellar transformed into a cellar, very luminous and which seduces with its superb alley of barrels. At the Sanac's, there is a love story with the Syrah. We really appreciated the cuvée 55 (80 % syrah and 20 % mourvèdre), a full-bodied red that is ideal as a wine for laying down. Fresher and more surprising is the 100% Syrah rosé simply named Rose des Albères. From PGI to AOC Côtes du Roussillon, the range of wines is vast and will delight all portfolios. You will also find on sale organic fruit juices and jams made by our farmer friends.
