Cuisine based on fresh terret and seafood products in a hotel near the beaches of Barcarès in the centre of the village of Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque
In the centre of the old village of Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque, less than 5 km from the beaches of Barcarès, the Hôtel Le Commerce is a small comfortable family hotel, with ten renovated rooms, fully equipped with shower, toilet, telephone, TV and hairdryer. They are simple and functional and some, for the comfort of families, are communicating. The staff is not only friendly but is also very efficient. Its table (3 cocottes) is worth the detour! Chantal Lermusieaux and her team use land and sea fresh produce. You will particularly appreciate the duo of bass (or sea bass) and grilled scallops in Noilly sauce with morels, the grilled beef fillet with Choron sauce. The purists of a very traditional cuisine will treat themselves with the duo of escalopes of fresh foie gras and galantine of veal head with Banyuls vinegar or sweetbreads braised in Banyuls and its charlotte of potato with morels. For dessert, the pancakes with the imperial tangerine or the "homemade" chocolate profiteroles are the musts for gourmands.
