DOMAINE SALVAT
The origin of the Domaine goes back to Auguste Père who, in the 1860 s, acquired part of the land of an ancient Gallo-Roman farm. In 1960, the estate grew on Villeneuve-la-Rivière. The Père-Foxonet family has two properties in Roussillon, one located in Villeneuve-la-Rivière near Perpignan and the other in the north-west at Saint-Martin-de-Fenouillet in the heart of a picturesque region, with an environment of castles, gorges and forests. Soil diversity makes it possible to develop rich and complex assemblages. The Domaine offers a range of wines from countries, côtes-du-roussillon AOC, côtes-du-roussillon-villages and natural soft wines. Their amber rivesaltes 1998 was gold medal for independent winegrowers 2005 and 2011 silver medallist at the general competition in Paris and Muscat dry. These marvels will accompany with joy and perfection a whole gastronomic palette.
