L'OS À LA BOUCHE
Cuisine based on local products in a restaurant with terrace in Tautavel.
On sunny days, firstly, the beautiful terrace of the address draws attention, it immediately makes you want to sit at a table in the shade of mulberry plane trees; then, the kindness of the welcome calls out, with smile and little friendly words. The dining room is, when it comes to it, large and charming with a dance floor in its center. On the plate, the pleasure meets expectations with a cuisine that focuses on the culinary culture of the department, it is not sophisticated, but is simply good and the menu changes with the seasons. Chef Dominique Tréfoux prepares cuisine based on traditional know-how with still some "unclassifiabled" timeless dishes such as foie gras terrine with muscat de Rivesaltes, the surprising tartiflette in Catalan style, the land and seafood platters... Those who need a quick snack will find a beautiful choice of large salads and those who love pasta will not be disappointed. The desserts, apart from the ice creams (the ice-cream sundaes are wonderful, huge and very good), are homemade. As for wine, it will be an opportunity to discover the excellent wines of Tautavel. We can say that this is a lovely address that Steeve and Eloïse Legrand, the owners, look after with passion.
