DOMAINE DE VEZIAN
Domaine de Vézian is part of a long wine-growing tradition. Albert Léonce Marie Philippe, Baron d'Albénas, bought it from its founder in 1919. In February 1972, Joseph Bonzoms, Marie-José Bonzoms' father, married Briu, Julie and Fanny Briu's grandfather, and acquired Domaine de Vézian. Joseph Bonzoms replanted the vineyard and kept a single plot of carignan. In 1990, Marie-José Briu and Guy Briu took over the estate. Together with their daughter Julie, they grow quality wines that combine respect for the terroir and modernity. The grape varieties are cultivated on 34 ha of stony clayey limestone hills. White wines are produced from sauvignon, grenache blanc and macabeu grapes. Red wines made from pinot noir, grenache noir, carignan, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, syrah, marselan and caladoc. Rosé wines made from pinot, grenache noir, cabernet franc, syrah and carignan.
